This Privacy policy describes how Orbity collects, processes, uses, and protects personal data of users in compliance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and other applicable privacy laws.
We collect and process the following categories of personal data:
We identify the legal basis for each processing activity in accordance with GDPR requirements.
Personal data is retained for the duration necessary to fulfill the stated purposes and as required by applicable law. Upon expiration, data is securely anonymized or deleted.
In accordance with GDPR, users have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict processing, object to processing, and data portability. To exercise these rights, contact: support@orbityjobs.com
Orbity employs cookies and similar tracking technologies to remember user preferences, analyze traffic patterns, and deliver personalized features. You may configure your browser to reject cookies; however, certain platform functionalities may become unavailable as a result.
We implement comprehensive technical and organizational security measures designed to protect personal information, including encryption, access controls, firewalls, and regular security audits.
Orbity accesses device location solely to provide location-aware functionality within the application. For Talent users, location is used in real time to display nearby stores relevant to their preferences. For Business users, location is used only to render the map view alongside their assigned stores.
Location data is processed exclusively on-device and in memory for the duration of the user's session. It is never transmitted to our servers, stored in our databases, or shared with third parties. No location history is created or retained.
The legal basis for this processing is the performance of the service requested by the user (Article 6(1)(b) GDPR). Location access is requested at the operating system level and may be revoked at any time through the device's application settings. Revoking location permission will disable proximity-based store discovery but will not affect other platform functionality.
